With a 300m-wide crater and altitude of just 580m, Mount Omuro - the sister mountain of Mount Fuji - looks like an upside down bowl. Its beautifully gentle silhouette can be viewed from anywhere in Izu-Kogen. Access the mountain top via the lift (with a fee) to enjoy a stunning 360°panorama, where you can take in the sights of Oshima Island floating in Sagami Bay, Izu Shichijima Island and peaks including Mount Fuji, Hakone and Mount Amagi.
